Abstract
Farm animals are exposed to xenobiotic such as bacteria, viruses, parasites and toxic substances. The natural barriers including skin, intestinal or respiratory mucous membranes, are the first line of defense to deal with these external aggressions. However, these barriers often do not prevent for those xenobiotics to penetrate further and stimulate the immune systems: the innate as well as the acquired immune ones.
