NOVUS Introduces New Bis-Chelated Trace Mineral
NOVUS today announced a new source of organic trace mineral nutrition available for the animal agriculture industry.

Grape (Vitis vinifera) polyphenols act as a multimodal antioxidant in animal nutrition, neutralizing free radicals, chelating pro-oxidant metals, activating the Nrf2/ARE pathway and modulating inflammatory pathways, unlike single-mechanism antioxidants such as vitamin E and selenium. Cellular evidence shows a grape extract-based molecule (ENTAN) restored cell viability and reduced lipid peroxidation in hepatocyte- and salmonid-derived cell lines under oxidative challenge, and applications in poultry and pigs link improved redox balance to egg quality, fertility, feed efficiency and meat quality.

Livestock & Feed Business - September 2026
Market Data Platform for Feed-to-Meat Supply Chain
China DL-Methionine
Methionine market remained weak with supplies abundant and feed producers holding back purchases.
Vietnam Soybean Meal
Soybean meal prices continued to rise, supported by firmer global markets and higher replacement costs.
Indonesia Broiler
Indonesia’s poultry market continued to recover, with broiler prices strengthening on improved demand, while egg prices remained subdued.

Animal Health
The new site joins the company's existing Georgia operations, which include research, development and manufacturing in Athens and manufacturing in Gainesville.
Companion Animal
The 1.3 million square foot Batavia facility is designed to feed about 8 million pets annually and will employ more than 500 people once fully operational.

Companion Animal
Dogs ate 72% of the microbial-protein kibble versus 50% of standard kibble, in a trial funded by the ingredient's maker, MicroHarvest.

Poultry
The Johor-based poultry group produces about 20,000 tonnes of feed a month through its own mill, supplying more than 70 farms across nine districts.

ADM ANIMAL NUTRITION
By enabling formulators to reduce reliance on marine animal-derived cholesterol sources without compromising shrimp performance, plant sterols offer a practical step forward, helping producers improve feed efficiency and manage costs.

Igusol-Produmix
The liver is a key metabolic axis in poultry production, and its function is challenged by fatty liver syndrome in layers and breeders, rapid growth in broilers, and heat-induced oxidative stress. Phytogenics can support liver function, but their efficacy depends on standardized, measurable active compounds rather than generic plant extracts. In broilers fed a standardized artichoke extract (chlorogenic acid and cynarin) from 0 to 42 days, serum AST and ALP were significantly reduced and total protein increased at the higher dose, alongside improved body weight and feed conversion, supporting standardization as a route to more consistent phytogenic nutrition.
