Abstract

The withdrawal of various growth promoters based on antibiotics, or the restrictions of ZnO and CuSO4 for environmental reasons, has seriously affected specialised nutrition during the young animal phase as many of the problems that we have in the first diets are due to the technical relaxation that has been brought about by the excessive use of such products.
