Abstract

The presence of mycotoxins in food and feed is practically unavoidable due to their ubiquitous presence and stability. As swine is considered a very sensitive specie to mycotoxicosis; the dietary exposure to mycotoxins has adverse effects on metabolic, productive, reproductive, digestive, immunological, and welfare parameters, even death in severe cases (Chaytor et al. 2011).
