India pushes Northeast fisheries and livestock expansion with US$2.67 billion support

India's Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister, Rajiv Ranjan Singh,last month said that the fisheries, animal husbandry and dairy sectors have immense potential to accelerate the economic development of India's Northeast, adding that growth in these sectors would ensure progress not only for individuals but for the region as a whole.
